Detailed description of Wild Dunes Golf Links, Harbor Course
Wild Dunes Golf Links -Harbor, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located in Isle Of Palms, South Carolina.
The Wild Dunes Resort facility has two 18 hole golf courses, The Harbor Course and The Links Course.
The Harbor Course at Wild Dunes Resort first opened for play in 1980. The course was designed by Tom Fazio.
Tom Fazio played with water all over the Harbor Course. Fairways skirt salt marshes and the Intracoastal. The course Par is 70, 6,446 yards, 70.9 course rating, 124 slope.
Practice facilities are located across from The Links clubhouse and include a driving range, chipping area and putting green.
$101 (cart included), played on Saturday, March 2012 at 8am
It was in good shape for that time of year but the weather was also unusally warm

This course needs a serious renovation. Greens were aerated 3 weeks ago, and still bumpy. Rain has washed sand from aeration holes. Greens mowed to be fast, so they were fast and bumpy.Fairways way too narrow and too much water for the casual vacation golfer, especially if the wind is up.Bermuda rough impossible to chip out of at the length it was allowed to grow.
